What are habits anyway? The dictionary defines "habit" as "an action, attitude, peculiarity that has become natural through frequent and constant repetition; something often performed only mechanically or unconsciously." In other words, our routine, unconsciously performed actions. These include banal things such as locking the door when you leave the house in the morning or putting your cell phone to one side an hour before going to bed.
